We would like to start by saying we hope that summer is treating you great! It's hard to believe that it is already July!
May and June have been busy months for us here at Dr. Brad Welsh's office! The beginning of May was spent reviewing what our team learned at the Pride Dental Convention we attended at the end of May. We are thrilled to have been a part of such a great convention and are excited to utilize the new things we learned to bring about a better dental experience for all of our patients! We celebrated one of our very own's 50TH BIRTHDAY! Jami Bird, our Expanded Functions Dental Assistant who has been working for Dr. Welsh for nearly 20 years, turned 50 on May 29th and we celebrated her birthday with a carry-in!
We filmed our video in May of Dr. Welsh taking a PIE to the FACE for April's Oral Cancer Awareness drive! The video can be viewed on YouTube but we will include the link here for you to watch! (Grinning Gary makes another appearance in this video!)
June meant the arrival of summer vacation for local students and teachers! Summer vacation is usually a very busy time for us. Did you know that Dr. Welsh can remove wisdom teeth under IV Sedation? Summer break is a perfect time for your teenage son or daughter (or for yourself) to have your wisdom teeth removed and typically after one week, you are back to feeling 100%! Dr. Welsh completes surgeries under IV sedation in office which means you don't have to worry about traveling further or going to another office! If you or someone you know needs your wisdom teeth removed and has recommended being "sedated" or "put to sleep" for the procedure, we would be glad to help! Check out the sedation part of our website for more information!
So far July has been a great month! Our office was closed for Independence Day and for the following week. We celebrated yet another birthday the first part of July! Amanda McClintock, one of our dental assistants had a birthday on July 7th and we celebrated her birthday before we left for vacation with a carry in as well! We will have a full report of July and what lies ahead for us in August in the coming month.
We have a lot of plans for the rest of the year including a Halloween Candy drive, as well as Share-A-Christmas and Salvation Army information! We are looking forward to more community outreach programs this year and cannot wait to share our stories with you!
We hope you are having a wonderful summer!
