April in Review

Good morning!

Spring has officially arrived in Millersburg and we hope you are all enjoying the sunshine and warm weather!

April was a busy month for us here at Dr. Welsh's office! At the beginning of the month we started an in office fundraiser and at the end of the month we traveled to Columbus, Ohio for a PRIDE Institute Dental Convention. Here's a quick review of April.

April was Oral Cancer Awareness Month and to help raise awareness, we decided to host an in office fundraiser/competition. Splitting up into teams, we raised $160.53 in "spare change" to donate to the Holmes County Relay For Life. The teams were as follows;

Team Plaque Attackers - Dental Hygienists Lindsay and Crystal

Team Sidekick Chicks - Dental Assistants, Missy, Jami, Amanda and Allie

Team Meet and Greet - Front Office Keri and Hayley

The Tooth fairy - Dr. Brad Welsh.

The team who raised the MOST money was actually the loser and would have to take a whipped cream pie to the face. The winning team was none other than the Tooth Fairy himself, Dr. Brad Welsh. Make sure you check our blog to see the pictures when he does take a pie to the face!

We want to extend our gratitude to to our patients who donated for such a great cause. Thank you for helping to achieve our goal!

Towards the end of April we traveled as a staff to Columbus for a Dental Convention. We stayed two nights in the Capital Square area and attended a two day convention at the Sheraton. We learned a lot and were able to bring back new techniques and ideas that we hope to utilize in our office to make our practice ever greater than before. We strive to make our patients feel like they have made the BEST decision when they call Dr. Brad Welsh's office and we hope to continue that as time goes on. Patient comfort is still our #1 goal; keeping you comfortable while performing the best dental treatment we can is what we strive for. During our stay in Columbus we also ate a lot of great food, did some shopping, and spent our "down time" exploring the city with each other.

We also celebrated a birthday in April! Crystal Horn, one of our amazing hygienists, had a birthday on April 17th. We had a carry-in for her and everyone brought an Italian dish per Crystal's request, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food! Happy Birthday, Crystal!

April was a busy and fun month for us and it was a great start to the Spring/Summer season! Don't forget to check back to see Dr. Welsh take his pie to the face!
